TLDR: Eclipse Mainnet is open to all. Solana on Ethereum is here. There are already 60+ dApps and service providers available in the Eclipse ecosystem for users to use on day one, and many more to come in the months ahead. Users can now experience the speed of Solana on Ethereum.
Eclipse was created with a singular vision: be the best place for dApps, thereby accelerating a future of crypto-enabled products. For too long, developers building on Ethereum have been constrained. The pitfalls of first-generation EVM L2s have been insufficient to scale Ethereum. Eclipse's launch provides an environment that enables Ethereum builders to be creative with what they want to build onchain while allowing SVM developers to tap into the users and liquidity of Ethereum. This is why we’ve been building Solana on Ethereum.
Since our testnet launch in December 2023 and our mainnet for developers launch in July, we’ve seen a vibrant ecosystem come together.
It is now time to open up these dApps for users.
With the tireless builders who’ve worked hard to build and deploy amazing products to Eclipse, we’re happy to share that over 60+ dApps and service providers are now live on Eclipse, with many more to come over the coming weeks. Head over to our ecosystem page to explore DeFi products, onchain games, and various consumer apps to get started.
Over the coming months, the Eclipse creator ecosystem will also be home to several exciting art launches from artists such as Tainaker, Sujipop, and Nafay. We are excited to support creators with the Eclipse Creator Fund, along with creator programs to bring traditional creators into web3.
Users who own the “Anticipation (of a future event)” NFT from the Total Solar Eclipse may now bridge the NFT at Scope to reveal the final dynamic artwork based on the different phases of the solar eclipse.
Mainnet for Users
Wallets
To get started on Eclipse, users can choose from an array of wallets, including:
-Backpack
-Nightly
-Salmon Wallet
Bridging
Once users have installed a wallet of choice, users can get started by bridging over.
-To bridge over ETH from Ethereum mainnet, use app.eclipse.xyz/bridge, powered by Dynamic.
-To bridge over USDC/USDT/WBTC from Ethereum mainnet or SOL/USDC/WIF from Solana, use usenexus.org, powered by Hyperlane.
-To mint Eclipse’s Unified Restaking Token, tETH, deposit eETH, ezETH, rswETH, steakETH, or pufETH at app.eclipse.xyz/mint-teth. To learn more about tETH, read our latest blog here.
-Users also have the option to use various solver-based bridges such as Owlto, Gas.Zip, and Orbiter.
Gas
Eclipse's official gas token is ETH. Users have the option of obtaining ETH on Eclipse through our gas station, which allows them to bridge other tokens and automatically swap a portion of those tokens for ETH to obtain gas.
Final Thoughts

We’re here to turbocharge Ethereum, and we are just getting started.
Eclipse
Eclipse is Ethereum's first L2 powered by the Solana Virtual Machine, combining the speed of Solana with the liquidity of Ethereum. This novel architecture enables a high-performance L2, with access to Ethereum's liquidity, while maintaining the hard constraint of verifiability. Eclipse gives developers a general-purpose L2 capable of massive scale that can power the next generation of decentralized applications.
